Thank you for this. Dogs’ love is pure and we owe them so much. We will love them forever. Also, my Ande is the softest dog I’ve ever pet, so that detail about Leo struck my heart.

Ah Jan. I’m so sorry for your loss. Aren’t we lucky to have these furry members join our families? One of THE most surprising events of my life was my dog. I loved that boy so much. Take care. Leo will always be part of you. Xo

I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs are the best, & their only true fault, is that they don’t outlive us. Huge hugs for you!💜

Think of how beautiful our world would be if we were actually the people our dogs think we are. It’s a very, very high calling.

Ohhh… so sorry Jan. Leo was a love, wish we could’ve met him ❤️ I truly loved the video because Leo’s spirit shone through, was in tears.

When Bob and Beau (black lab) and I visited you in downtown Tulsa, I took a picture of the “day of the dead” mural of the dog, with quote “Dogs lives are too short, their only fault really.” So hard when the months and weeks draw close, and the day comes…

So very sorry for your loss Jan 💔

No doubt he was a companion of superior qualities. He had a quiet nobility about him. It's a sad thing to lose such a devoted friend.

Oh Jan, you are so unabashedly human, providing us joy as from the love of a dog, even my adoring cats! Keep writing girl, you are quite good at it!
