Thank you for this. Dogs’ love is pure and we owe them so much. We will love them forever. Also, my Ande is the softest dog I’ve ever pet, so that detail about Leo struck my heart.
Ah Jan. I’m so sorry for your loss. Aren’t we lucky to have these furry members join our families? One of THE most surprising events of my life was my dog. I loved that boy so much. Take care. Leo will always be part of you. Xo
Ohhh… so sorry Jan. Leo was a love, wish we could’ve met him ❤️ I truly loved the video because Leo’s spirit shone through, was in tears.
When Bob and Beau (black lab) and I visited you in downtown Tulsa, I took a picture of the “day of the dead” mural of the dog, with quote “Dogs lives are too short, their only fault really.” So hard when the months and weeks draw close, and the day comes…
Thank you, Liz, and thanks for watching the video. Truly, the days are too short, which makes the time all the more precious. Hugs to you and Bob and a belly rub to Beau
Oh Jan, such a beautiful tribute. And feeling your grief through your words and understanding the mutual immense and intense love of our pets. May the healing of your heart for you and Tom be gentle with every beautiful reminder of Leo. What a special guy.
Thank you, Joan. I know you understand deeply what it is like to lose your furry life companion. It's brutal. And, somehow, eventually, we get through it.
I’m sure you do! Eliot was a special little guy. Its never enough time. As another friend reminded me, only failure of dogs is that they don’t live long enough. ❤️🩹
Jan, continue to write your thoughts and share your wisdom. You take us into new ways of knowing, believing and wonderment with your vision.
So grateful for your views of life.

Isn’t that one of the best delights? That incredible snuggleable softness! How wonderful 🧡

The five minutes of Leo was glorious. Thank you for sharing. So much happened during those 15 years. Leo was a good buddy. My heart hurts for you. 🤟🏼
Thank you, friend. I’m so glad you got to spend time with him and Athena. 🧡
I’m so sorry for your loss. Dogs are the best, & their only true fault, is that they don’t outlive us. Huge hugs for you!💜
Thank you! 💜
Think of how beautiful our world would be if we were actually the people our dogs think we are. It’s a very, very high calling.
A very high calling indeed ❤️
Leo will always be there in your heart. Thank you for sharing these wonderful memories of him. May they be a blessing to you.
Thank you, Kate 💜

No doubt he was a companion of superior qualities. He had a quiet nobility about him. It's a sad thing to lose such a devoted friend.
Thank you, Rachel. He was indeed a noble little soul
Oh Jan, you are so unabashedly human, providing us joy as from the love of a dog, even my adoring cats! Keep writing girl, you are quite good at it!
Phil
Thank you, Phil. That’s high praise coming from your feline friends! 🧡

I’m so sorry Jan. It’s never easy. It’s been nearly a year since Elliott died and we miss him so much every single day.
