Hoping this medication takes care of it so you can enjoy your geckos and drum your fingers painlessly while waiting for plumbing fixtures to arrive. I hope you have nice, thick gloves for those blackberries.

Thank you! Sorry for the tardy reply, having a difficult time getting wifi here. Mouth feels better, as long as I don't chew on that side! As for the blackberries, we hired a gardener (it was the only way to have our garden waste removed) so hopefully he will be careful and not hurt himself!

Hope you're on the mend, Jan! Recommendation from "Dr. Joan": Get your heart checked sometime soon! My good friend had what sounds like the exact scenario with her root canal and ended up with permanent heart problems. Please excuse my comment if you are well aware of this possible connection—I on't mean to intrude!

Thank you, Joan. I hadn't heard of that connection before, so the advice is well taken!

Oh, I'm relieved because I don't want to intrude or sound like "know-it-all" because, well, I know so little! However...for another example, my older sister had rheumatic fever as a child which slightly damaged her mitral valve, and she always takes antibiotics before any dental procedure per long-standing protocol. Sigh...I inherited the "worry gene"...
