We are all connected. I think that's really the point of the post. Whether we like it or not, we are connected. All things are connected. Connection is one definition of being tethered. Ah, but to acknowledge this connection and to embrace the responsibility that goes with connection. THAT- I believe - is living a soulful, spiritual, ethical, richly rewarding life.

Indeed. It's a mythology that really needs to die. But as much as it is exposed, some still cling to it.
