Water is my element, so I am very much at home when I'm at work as a dockmaster.
What I learned from this last year is how much I really enjoy holing up in the condo and being by myself.
My current situation suits me fine: Until the busy haulout season hits in October, I work three days and have four days off.
My sociability needs are satisfied by the personal interactions I have on the weekends, and my solitary time is just right Monday - Thursday.
