Well now that I look through my photos the only one that really shows the Alpine effect is the one in the post. That’s so weird because both Tom and I commented on it while we were there.

Hahaha! Well that might be a classic finding a familiar imprint example! To me, the third photo with the pitched roof and green accents feels Apline. So many Italian roofs are slanted only on one side and when there is a double slant, you dont see it from the front or back- only the side. In this photo, you are seeing that pitch from the back with porches. When I travelled in the German and Austrian countryside, I saw this double slant from the front everywhere.
