Reminds of the book: "Your body keeps count."

You can be at home wherever if you're at home in your body.

I practically grew up in a Matriarchal society (in Auroville), and when I went back to the "outside world" one thing that really stuck me was how deeply embedded patriarchy is embedded into almost everything. Writing and blogging about tech the last few years, I followed a "women in tech" movement that has actually gotten worse, even as the majority decision makers in Venture Capital and Silicon Valley are white men.

I do not understand American political trends or its legal system, but I feel as if everything from climate change to civil unrest is because in part we don't value and led women lead us more. While other more progressive countries have female Presidents or Prime Ministers, in the U.S. instead we choose more of the same.

I guess sometimes in history to stoke change you need to hit rock bottom. I just don't know what rock bottom will look like in the U.S.

It's hard to retain the mystic's perspective when Capitalism and Democracy are such cruel, ruthless and unfair institutions. Without basic social justice, I'm not sure where to call home any longer?

Jan, this is beautiful and ironically I read it from Chuck Puffers FB post. This is so real and so true. I have always been focused on health and also felt confident about not being trapped and it happened. Breathe, focus, work, release, renew. Thank you for your words. Maryjane
