I'm sorry for your loss, Jan! I am sure he was a great person.

Also, that church looks so beautiful! Thank you for this interesting article, I am always eager to learn about new traditions and celebration days.

Thank you, Karen.

Yes, I agree! In the shadow of the Orvieto Dom, it is much over-looked. We absolutely fell in love with it.

Goodness. This time of great change with the planets seems to be ushering in many deaths of these mortal bodies...Bill's mother also passed last night. 97. Peace to these beautiful souls as they pass and may their spirits guide us.

Awe, so sorry for your sudden loss, Jan. Thanks for posting the beautiful church photos and the info about the Feast of St. Joseph. My Italian grandfathers name was Joseph (Giuseppe).

Thank you, Joan. We were prepared for Jim’s passing these last few months, and still... my heart goes out to my siblings.

Cheers to your grandfather, your nonno! Did he go by Joseph or Giuseppe? That probably depends on whether he lived here or in Italy. There are SO many Giuseppes in Italy ( for good reason).
