Thanks. Great to learn this. My grandparents are from Benevento, home if Strega ( after dinner Liquor) from a place rich with witch lore.

Hey, I didn’t know about Benevento OR Strega liqueur! Can’t wait to check these both out. Thank you! Buona Befana!

Maybe we can write if together! There is a big tree there and tales of witches - like Salem Ma ( near me)

I live in Spain so today is just like Christmas or even more important. The 3 Kings' procession takes place in every city, big or small, and the Kings arrive here from the sea, land, or air, depending on the city's geographical location. It's a beautiful tradition! :)

YES!!! I was in Barcelona btwn Christmas 1997 and Epiphany 1998. This was when I first discovered how other places celebrate Three Kings. I am SO happy to hear it is still a solid custom! Thank you for your comment!!

Yes, it's a very solid custom. I live in a suburb of Barcelona, on the coast, and here the 3 Kings arrived from a boat on the beach on a gloriously sunny day. A beautiful setting!

That is SO great!!! I will have to visit Spain again for Epiphany. I didn't see the 3 Kings arrive (I flew home that day) and I would LOVE to see that!!
